About
Matt Snell is a producer, recording engineer, and mixer from Toronto, Canada. After stints working in smaller studios for several years, Matt landed a job at Phase One Studios. During his 5 years there, he had the opportunity to learn from some of the best producers, engineers, and artists from Canada and around the world.
Now, as a freelancer and a grammy winning engineer, Matt is adding to the long list of artists he has worked with, including most recently, Dua Lipa, The Glorious Sons, The Flatliners, Banners, and Kasador. Matt also works alongside some of the top producers of today including The Koz (Kendrick Lamar, Dua Lipa, Madonna).
Matt has his own studio called Genesis Sound Inc in the west end of Toronto with an extensive array of Microphones, outboard gear and instruments.
In his spare time, Matt is an avid collector and historian of vintage microphones and gear.
